The current habits you have will often be reactions to certain physical environments, and so it may be worth observing a whole day of your normal life, and list how your dietary habits are potentially influenced by your physical environment.
Perhaps through eating with certain people, or driving past a fast food restaurant twice a day, you habitually indulge in unhealthy eating patterns. Maybe your friends offer you unhealthy snacks, or take you to a restaurant where you eat poorly. To what degree external stimulus is affecting your eating habits varies dramatically between different people, make sure you are aware and in control of yours.
If you are negatively influenced by the world around you, work to create better relationships, or removes these influences altogether. For example, don’t drive past the fast food outlet you buy food from, instead drive a longer route home. These changes could well be annoyances, but they will all help to change your lifestyle, and after all how much is your health worth?
